The Digital Literacy Licence (DLL) is a suite of microcredentials designed to provide the foundational digital literacy concepts and knowledge to close the digital skills gap. The program consists of four (4) microcredentials that are issued as a digital badge via QVault.
The Educator Capability Licence (ECL) is a program variation of the DLL designed specifically for educators. There are three levels of the program (Investigating, Experimenting and Adopting) and each level has 7 lessons. A digital credential is issued for each level.
Each level will take approximately 8 - 10 hours. Overall, it will be 24 - 30 hours for the full suite of lessons if doing all three levels. We do suggest that this is spaced out over the course of a year to allow reflective practice to occur and implement the skills learnt in the program.
The answer to this question varies as it depends how you're enrolling. As a single enrolment, the program is currently $165 (inc GST) per user per level. However, if an institution is looking for bulk enrolments, this price will decrease significantly. Contact us for institutional pricing at [email protected].
While our Investigating level is live already, the Experimenting level will be released mid-September, and the Adopting level late-October. We do want you to take your time in completing the program so you can implement what you're learning. So starting now on Investigating is perfect timing to be ready for each subsequent level to be released.
